There was a boy with big brown owl eyes, a sarcastic gleam and an asymmetrical smile.
There he was, just diagonal from me, a beer bottle in hand and the jolliest laugh.
There he was again, this time across a dripping pillar candle and dim light.
There he was on my lips, and again on my mind.
And there he was, out on the town. My heart sank and gave way, to mutual apologies.

I just bought some 14K gold to work. I’m excited but anxious since it’s unlike any metal I’ve worked with before. My first two gold projects are a thin nose ring for myself and thin hammered rings. I might have to wait until after we move in January; I’m trying to be patient.

If you have your nose pierced I’m asking you to ‘test drive’ a stud I’ll make specifically for you out of sterling silver wire.
